S4 – Procurement Management

This seminar explains techniques of effective procurement of goods and services from vendors and suppliers.

Starting points are 6 areas of procurement process from the PMBOK (Project management Book of Knowledge, Third edition) according to which procurement framework is defined. Processes are further broken down to steps necessary for more efficient negotiating and selection. All aspects including team organization, identification and risk assessment, contract types, selection of qualified bidder and contract execution are covered.
